Q What is a breakfast club?

A Affordable childcare for working parents/carers. The children are given breakfast and supervised while they play games, draw, read, do homework etc
- Q Who can attend the breakfast club?
- A Any child who is on roll at Sunnymed Junior School or Sunnymede Infant School. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide transport for children who attend other schools.
- Q Are children who attend the Infant School escorted there once the club finishes?
- A Yes
- Q What time does the club open?
- A The breakfast club is open from 7.45am to 8.45am.
- Q How much does it cost for my child to attend?
- A The daily rate is £3.00, which includes breakfast. There is a reduced cost for siblings.
- Q Does my child have to attend every day in order to secure a place?
- A No, we try to be as flexible as possible. However, some days are more popular than others and regulations stipulate the adult/child ratio.
- Q Is it possible to use the breakfast club on an ad hoc basis?
- A We will do our best to accommodate your child for a single session but would ask for as much notice as possible.
- Q What do the children get for breakfast?
- A Cereal, toast and fruit juice or milk.
- Q Who supervises the children?
- A Staff members employed by Sunnymede Junior School. Needless to say, they are fully CRB checked.
