I was a former pupil at the school (1977 to 1981) and have so many fond memories of the school that i still cherish today even after my parents took us across to Australia. But im so happy to see things are going well and will always be thankful i attended a great school in a great town.

Well Done to all of the children and staff for all the hard work they've put in for India Arts Week. The assembly this morning was great, everyone looked fantastic. Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as Riley did.

I have just seen Otters class assembly. How well the children performed. Congratulations to Miss Gray and Mrs. FitzGerald and all the children and thank you for such an enjoyable morning. WELL DONE!!!!

This is the best ever Infant School website I have ever seen and used! It is very helpful and informative and I am very impressed! All the very best to all the children in Sunnymede Infants School, your work is excellent!

Hello everyone in Squirrels just to say I loved the Norsey Woods trip. Thank you very much for taking us Miss Payne and Mrs Murphy.

It is a long time since i was at this school and now looking at it, it has changed so much since i was there and it has got even better.

Hi all at Sunnymede, I thought I should leave a message to everyone as it has been a snowy week! I would like to say a special hi to all the middays who work at Sunnymede . The snow has stopped our skipping, but not to worry we will be back once the weather warms up. Missed you all today but I will see you all tomorrow. By the way this is a fandabbiedossy site!

I started Sunnymede School in September 1960 and the 3 years I was there were the best of my school days. I attended the recent Golden Birthday celebrations and was delighted to meet staff from my era! Who remembers Mrs. Stevenson and Miss Mayles? There were also many familiar faces from my daughters' days at Sunnymede ..Mrs. Rowley, Mrs Barr, Mrs Shannahan Mrs Grottick and of course Mr Cox. Now my granddaughter is the third generation to go to Sunnymede and I look forward to many more years of association with the schools...the happiest school I know!

What great days i had at the Infant and Junior School, the best days of my school years i would say ! Do you remember the swimming pool out on the back field, it was really cold and i can remember having to climb the steps to get in but great fun..... Good memories of the Infant school was the long corridor and the setps outside the Heads office and the demantables outside, we got wet if it was raining but it was fun. The Hall where we did our Nativity Plays always had a smell that to this day i can`t fathom what is smelt like ! The p.e. equipment that we pulled away from the walls? ? FAB DAYS

I could go on but i would love to read or hear from anyone who remembers my family .

I attended Sunnymede from 1974-1981. Mrs Howarth was my teacher in my first year and we had a classroom in the demountables that have since been demolished! Now I feel old!!
Mrs Barr was my teacher in my second year and Mrs Grottick in my third. The hall always smelt of school dinners - they were tasty but we always had mash and peas and afterwards some giant sponge tray bake with either pink or yellow custard!!
I remember one hot day being taken to the field where the head teacher gave us all a mini milk ice lolly! Happy days!!

I remember when i was at infant's now im top of the school YEAR 6 :D I saw the infant head teacher coming back from holiday when i came back from portugal. Anyway nice website ill look forward to seeing the future sunnymede!

A really great website. I love to look at the photos of my sons class page, and being able to save photos of the wall displays and his work to our computer.

Amazing to see how the school has changed over many years. I have been back many times seeing 2 of children through the school and now I look forward to my 3rd child starting with you.

Just surfing the net and thought I would look Sunnymede up. The front of the school looks really different, hope you are all well. Its amazing that even from the other side of the world I can still keep up to date with what is going on over there.

Wow, the school has definitely changed since I went to it in 1999. We used to use numbers as our class names instead of animals- a very creative change! I also remember our headteacher used to be Mrs Wren... but seeing the staff page I can only remember 1 teacher! Glad to see everything's great, and the classrooms look superb! Well done on a fantastic website, very imaginative, colourful and clear.
